On Sunday, December 15th, the “Winter Learning Connections Project” (「冬のまなびのつながりプロジェクト」), a department experience event for high school students was held at Yamaguchi University’s Yoshida Campus as part of a high school-university collaboration initiative. This was planned to allow high school students to learn about the real world of university life through interactions with university students that they would not get to see at an open campus. This event was jointly held by the “Learning Connections Project” (「まなびのつながりプロジェクト」), a student association from the Faculty of Education at Yamaguchi University, and “Palet’s,” an official club from the Faculty of Global and Science Studies.
On the day, participants had the opportunity to experience lectures and cafeterias, as well as take part in a campus tour with fun games at each checkpoint, allowing them to deepen their interactions with senior students.
