Discussions took place at the University of Nairobi with the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences
On 14 February 2024, Professor Hayasaka, Chair of the Programme Steering Committee, visited the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences at the University of Nairobi to discuss future collaboration.
The Faculty of Global and Science Studies, Yamaguchi University, will conduct a five-day study trip in Nairobi in March, coinciding with the exchange with the Joint Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. The University of Nairobi's Department of History and Archaeology, located in the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, was chosen as the destination for the visit.
Professor Keneeth Ombongi, the Head of the Department, and other faculty members from the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, along with Professor Gitau from the University's Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, who acted as a liaison between the departments, joined Professor Hayasaka on the day to confirm the schedule of the study trip at the University of Nairobi and discuss future collaborations.
The meeting was also featured on the website of the Department of History and Archaeology, Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences, University of Nairobi.
