Veterinary education began in 1942, and a veterinary degree program was launched in July 1962.

The faculty is made up of five teaching departments.

  • VAP(Department of Veterinary Anatomy & Physiology)
  • VPMP(Department of Veterinary Pathology, Microbiology)
  • PHPT(Department of Public Health Pharmacology & Toxicology)
  • AP(Department of Clinical Studies)
  • CSD(Department of Clinical Studies)

Since its inception, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine has continued to diversify, offering both undergraduate and graduate education in the fields of veterinary medicine, medical bioscience, and wildlife science.
Initially, they planned to train only veterinarians, but now it offers two additional degree programs: "Medical Biotechnology" and "Wildlife management and related departments".
In addition, they conduct education in several graduate and non-degree training courses.
