Final report session on the workshops to develop problem-solving skills was held
The final report session of the 'Workshops to develop problem-solving skills through social issues in Africa' took place on Wednesday 27 March 2024.
In late February and March, students participated in online meetings, group discussions, and fieldwork in Kenya. On the final day, each group presented their findings and verification results. Both groups discussed the insights gained from repeated Customer Value Chain Analysis (CVCA) and the honest feelings they experienced while fieldwork in Kenya. It appears that they were able to further enhance their perspectives by collecting the voices of local people.
The final report session was attended by Kenta Hara, representative of AA Health Dynamics, and the Dean of the Faculty of Global and Science Studies along with its faculty members. The guest speakers were Kana Suzuki, coordinator at the Kenya Research Station of NUITM, and Kotaro Yoneda, Representative of Borderless Japan. They provided general comments on each group's presentation and introduced ongoing efforts to resolve social issues in Africa.
We aim to further develop its connection with Africa for students and faculty members in various ways in the future.
