Professor Hayasaka visited the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Nairobi as a courtesy

On 25 September 2023, Professor Hayasaka, Chair of the Programme Steering Committee, and Professor Takahashi from the Graduate School of Asian and African Area Studies at Kyoto University paid a courtesy visit to the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Nairobi to discuss deepening inter-university exchange.
Stephan Kiama, the Vice Chancellor said, "They informed me of the increased interest of their universities to develop linkages with the University of Nairobi for the benefit of students and scholars. We have agreed to extend the existing collaboration to more disciplines.”
We will continue to strengthen our cooperation with the University of Nairobi and further develop future projects.
