On June 22, 2019, the 3rd Multilayer Systems Medicine Symposium titled 'New Challenges for Intractable Diseases through Artificial Intelligence and Systems Medicine' was held.

Keynote Lectures by Dr. Hiroaki Kitano (Professor, Okinawa Institute of Science and Technology; President, Systems Biology Institute) and Dr. Kazuhiro Sakurada (Deputy Program Director, RIKEN Program for Medical Innovation Hub; Group Director, Multi-layered Platform for Health and Medical Data Integration).
In the second part, lectures were given by Dr. Jun Kiyota, Dr. Mitsutaka Honma, and Dr. Junichi Sugawara.
The symposium was attended by 70 participants and concluded successfully.
