On Monday, 21 October 2024, a delegation from Eastern International University (EIU) in Vietnam, including Chairman Nguyen Tan Loi, President Ngo Minh Duc, visited Yamaguchi University.

After visiting the Faculty of Engineering, the delegation paid a courtesy call on the Vice-President Ishii, followed by discussions on strengthening collaboration between the two universities. Since EIU already collaborates with Singaporean students in a joint problem-solving internship programme, Chairman Nguyen suggested that involving YU students would offer valuable cross-cultural exchange opportunities with EIU students as well as those from Singapore.

In addition to exchanges with the Faculty of Engineering, we hope to expand student exchange and collaborative learning opportunities across the university in the future.
