On Wednesday, 30 October 2024, a delegation of five faculty members from Kasetsart University in Thailand, led by Dr.rer.nat. Weerapat Kunlathanasiri, Dean of the Graduate School, visited Yamaguchi University. They paid a courtesy call on the Faculty of Agriculture and Prof. Ishii, Vice President for international collaboration.

  In 2020, Yamaguchi University, in partnership with Kasetsart University, established the “Joint Master’s Degree Program in Agricultural and Life Sciences” within the Graduate School of Sciences and Technology for Innovation, YU. During this visit, the delegation toured Yamaguchi University’s Center for Research and Application of Satellite Remote Sensing (YUCARS) and explored Yoshida Campus with guidance from a Thai student. This visit facilitated a meaningful exchange of ideas, further strengthening academic collaboration between the two institutions.
