On 14 July 2026, Dr Anthony Tosi, Associate Professor from Kent State University (Ohio, USA), visited Yamaguchi University. Dr Tosi visits our university annually to promote international exchange and deliver university introductions across our campuses.

During his two-day stay, Dr Tosi discussed future research and student exchange with the School of Health Sciences faculty at the Kogushi Campus. He also held a study abroad session at the Yoshida Campus, sharing insights into Kent State University’s campus life and Ohio’s environment with prospective students. Following the session, he met with Prof. Yoko Takematsu, Vice-President for International Cooperation, and other faculty members to discuss future collaboration.

Since launching in Spring 2025, the student exchange partnership has steadily grown, with more exchange students arriving this autumn to further strengthen ties between the two institutions.
