President from the National Changhua University of Education, Taiwan, Visits YU
On Thursday, 6th August 2026, a seven-member delegation from National Changhua University of Education (NCUE), Taiwan, led by President Chen Ming-Fei, visited Yamaguchi University. During their visit, the delegation paid a courtesy call on President Yukio Tanizawa and toured the Faculty of Science.
During the courtesy call, both universities introduced their institution’s activities and expressed mutual hopes to foster future collaboration through education, research, and student exchange.
The delegation then visited the Faculty of Science to meet with Dean Noriaki Suetake and Professor Ryo Tsunashima. They also toured facilities such as the Centre for Analytical Instruments and received an introduction to the university’s research and educational environment.
NCUE is a Taiwanese national university with roots in teacher training. It offers a wide range of disciplines, including science and engineering, with a strong focus on semiconductors, AI, and manufacturing education. This visit provided a valuable opportunity to promote future exchanges between the two universities, with a view to concluding an academic exchange agreement.
