Associate Professor Anthony Tosi from Kent State University, U.S.A. visited YU

On Friday, June 7, 2024, Associate Professor Dr. Anthony Tosi from Kent State University in Ohio, U.S.A., made his third visit to Yamaguchi University. He met with the Vice-President for International Cooperation, Professor Yuri Ishii, to talk about the character of Kent State University and student life at the university. They also shared Yamaguchi City’s selection by the New York Times as one of the “52 Places to Go in 2024”.

During the lunch break, he gave a presentation on “An Introduction to Kent State University” for students who were interested in studying abroad in the U.S.A. The students were given an overview of the university and information about studying abroad, with photos of the Ohio landscape and campus, making it an informative event for the students.

The exchange program with Kent State University is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2025, and we hope that Dr. Anthony’s visit will lead to an active exchange of students.
