Overview:
The seminar aims to share the recent activities of
alumni, and to provide a place for interaction among alumni from various
countries and students at Yamaguchi University. It also focuses on sharing
local disasters and environmental problems and creating opportunities for
international research cooperation. The organizer welcomes participation of not only
Yamaguchi University alumni and students but also those who are interested
in disaster prevention and the environment.

Call for Oral Presentations
We welcome Yamaguchi University alumni and students to make an oral presentation. Topics related to disaster prevention and
mitigation and environmental problems in your countries are welcome, but
any other topics are also acceptable. We also welcome research presentations
that have already been published elsewhere. The time allocation per person
is planned to be 12 minutes for the presentation and 3 minutes for the questions and answers.
Those who are planning to make an oral presentation, please fill out the Application for Oral Presentation by Friday, February 20, 2026, 11:00 p.m. (JST/UTC+9)

Call for Participation
This is a FREE Zoom Meeting. The organizer welcomes participation of not only alumni of Yamaguchi
University but also those who are interested in disaster prevention and
the environment. Those who attend the seminar, please fill out the Application for Participation by Thursday, March 5, 2026, 11:00 p.m. (JST/UTC+9).
You will receive a registration completion email immediately after registration.
The registration completion email contains the Zoom participation URL,
so please keep it until the day of the event. If you do not receive the
registration completion email, it is possible that your registration has
not been completed. In that case, please contact us by email. Depending
on the security settings of your PC, it may arrive in the junk mail folder,
so please check the junk mail folder as well. Further information about
the latest program and how to attend the seminar and precautions will be
posted on March 5.
