Seminar by Dr. Samik Ghosh
On October 12, 2018, we invited Dr. Samik Ghosh, Systems Biology Institute (SBI) to give a seminar titled 'Connected analytics in biomedicine and healthcare', focusing on the Garuda platform and its applications. The Garuda Platform, developed and operated since 2010 by the Garuda Alliance led by the Systems Biology Institute (SBI), serves as a hub for software integration. It is an open platform enabling researchers to freely design workflows from data acquisition to analysis. It has been applied across various scales, from autonomous vehicle systems to community-based healthcare. Director Yoshiyuki Asai and Assistant Professor Takeshi Abe of the AI Systems Medicine Research and Training Center were founding members of the platform's development.
