Welcome to Core Clusters for Research Initiatives of Yamaguchi University “Medical Physics Research Unit for development of innovative radiotherapy techniques“. Medical physics is a field that contributes to human health by applying and utilizing the knowledge and results of physics and engineering to medicine.
Through research and development, this organization will work on human resource development for young researchers in medical-engineering-science collaboration, medical physicists, and radiotherapy technicians, considered to be in short supply in Yamaguchi Prefecture.
The participating researchers specialize in various fields such as medicine, engineering, and science, and conduct medical physics research in collaboration with medical engineering.
Diagnostic and therapeutic radiology is the result of collaboration among various disciplines. We hope to work together with many people to develop new technologies from Yamaguchi to the world.
