Certificate Application

Eligible	Type of Certificates
Course completion with doctoral degree	Completion certificate, Academic transcript, Certificate of enrollment period, Doctoral certificate
Withdrawing students (included withdrawal with credits earned)	Academic transcript, Certificate of enrollment period
Those who obtained a doctor’s degree after withdrawal with credits	Academic transcript, Certificate of enrollment period, Doctoral certificate

Note

• Certificates can be issued both in Japanese and in English.
• Certificates CANNOT be issued on the same day as the payment needs to be confirmed.
• It may take several weeks in some cases for the certificates to reach you.
• It may take longer in the following cases, so please apply early:
  -Certificates in English
  -During Summer (Obon) and New Year holidays because the office is closed.
• Those living in a foreign country should apply for certificates through a third party living in Japan. If you cannot find a third party, please contact us.
• If other certificates are required, please contact us directly.
