Overview

Continuing from the first seminar in March 2021 and the second seminar in March 2022, Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Group, Research Center for Local Resilience (DPMG), Yamaguchi University hosts “The 3rd International Alumni Online Seminar on Disaster Prevention and Environment” for Yamaguchi University alumni and students. The seminar aims to share the recent activities of alumni, and to provide a place for interaction among alumni from various countries and students at Yamaguchi University. It also focuses on sharing local disasters and environmental problems and creating opportunities for international research cooperation. This seminar also aims to follow up on recovery and subsequent issues following the Timor-Leste* heavy rain disaster in April 2021. The organizer welcomes participation of not only Yamaguchi University alumni and students but also those who are interested in disaster prevention and the environment.
