*Report* External Lecturer Seminar (Division of Advanced Genome Editing Therapy) was held.

On Tuesday, June 10, 2025, “Why can newts ‘super-regenerate’? -Understanding the Molecular Mechanisms of Organ Regeneration” was held on Tuesday, June 10, 2025, in the 5th floor seminar room of the Ishukan Building on the Kogushi Campus.
Dr. Kenichi Suzuki from the National Institute for Basic Biology gave the lecture.

The lecture was like watching a TV program, and Dr. Suzuki talked about his research.
There were many questions and answers, and in an at-home atmosphere, he taught us in an easy-to-understand manner about the differences between newts and frogs in terms of their regenerative abilities.

Through such activities in the future, the Institute will continue to make further strides toward achieving its mission.
