*Report* Joint Seminar with the Division of Systems Medicine and Informatics
On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, a seminar entitled “Establishment of a Cross-disciplinary Research Center for Elucidation of Pathophysiology and Drug Discovery of Psychiatric and Neurological Diseases and Training of Data Scientists at Fujita Medical College” was held at the Conference Room on the 1st floor of the Basic Research Building, Kogushi Campus, jointly hosted by the Department of Systems Bioinformatics, AI The lecture was co-sponsored by the Department of Systems Bioinformatics, the AI Systems Medicine and Medical Care Research and Education Center (AISMEC), and the Research Institute for Cell Design and Medical Science.
Dr. Yoshimoto spoke from various angles, including his background, what he is currently working on, and Fujita Medical College.
The event was attended by students and was very well attended by participants beyond the scope of the course.
Through such activities in the future, the institute will continue to make further strides toward achieving its mission.
