*Report* International Seminar (Division of Advanced Genome Editing Therapy) was held
Microbiota-Immune Interactions in Health and Disease” was held on Monday, July 7, 2025 at the 2nd Lecture Room on the 2nd floor of the Ishukan Building on the Kogushi Campus.
Dr. GABRIEL NUNEZ, a lecturer from the University of Michigan, spoke on the topic.
He explained the detailed mechanisms of how the gut microbiota promotes inflammatory bowel disease in genetically susceptible individuals and cancer patients after immune checkpoint inhibition.
The Q&A session was lively, and Dr. NUNEZ also asked questions of the participating students, creating an at-home atmosphere for interaction.
Through such activities in the future, the institute will continue to make further strides toward achieving its mission.
