＊Announcement＊Our Faculty Members Ranked in the Top 2% of the World’s Most Influential Scientists
In the latest update (published September 19, 2025) of the “World’s Top 2% Scientist List,” a ranking of researchers with significant global influence in their respective fields, thirteen faculty members from our university were recognized in the “Single-Year” category. The list is compiled and published by Stanford University (USA) in collaboration with Elsevier (Netherlands).
From this Institute, the following three professors from the Division of Advanced Genome Editing Therapy were honored:
Professor Motoaki Sano
Professor Koji Shiraishi
Professor Norihiro Sugino
This internationally prestigious list is based on data from Elsevier’s “Scopus” database. It utilizes a comprehensive analysis of multiple metrics, including total citations and the h-index, to evaluate research impact.
The inclusion of our faculty members in this list serves as a testament to the fact that our university’s research activities are conducted at a world-class level and that our findings continue to exert a significant influence across a wide range of academic disciplines.
