*Report* External Lecturer Seminar Held

On Friday, January 9, 2026, we held a seminar titled “Functional Regeneration and Physiological Recovery Using Novel Artificial Synapse Connectors—Possibilities for Therapeutic Applications Through Manipulation of the Extracellular Environment” in the Seminar Room on the 5th floor of the Ishukan at the Ogushi Campus.

We invited Dr. Kosei Takeuchi from the Department of Behavioral Therapeutics, Center for Elucidation of Psychiatric and Neurological Disorders, and the Research Hub for Psychiatric and Neurological Disorders, Research Promotion Headquarters, Fujita Health University, to speak.

Dr. Takeuchi shared insights about Mind-BRIDGe, a project Fujita Health University is actively pursuing, and discussed his own research and future prospects.

Dr. Takeuchi shared his vision of using artificial synaptic connectors as molecules to enhance resilience functions, pursuing research with the dream of potentially curing neurological disorders.

Institute members actively participated in a Q&A session, engaging in cross-disciplinary discussions in a relaxed atmosphere.

Through such activities, the Institute will continue striving toward its mission and achieving further progress.
