＊Report＊ External Lecturer Seminar Held
On March 2, 2026, we hosted a seminar at the Yoshida Campus featuring Dr. Eijiro Miyako, Executive Advisor to the President at the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST).
Dr. Miyako presented his research on the “AUN” bacterial consortium, explaining its immune-independent anti-tumor mechanisms at the molecular and cellular levels using animal models. He also highlighted his work on theranostics—the integration of simultaneous diagnosis and treatment. The one-hour session was truly captivating, enriched by personal anecdotes about discovering beneficial bacteria and inspiring interactions with his students.
Through these activities, our institute remains committed to achieving its mission and reaching new heights in research excellence.
