On March 30, 2026, the Systems Biochemistry in Pathology and Regeneration hosted a symposium at Lecture Hall 2, 2nd floor of Ishukan on the Ogushi Campus.
The event featured lectures by distinguished professors close to Professor SEIKI, who retired at the end of the 2025 fiscal year. The program included the following presentations:

4.”Centrosome Research and Hereditary Diseases in Human Cells”
Lecturer: Daiju Kitagawa, Professor, Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, The University of Tokyo
5.”Mechanisms of Liver Formation and Homeostasis Maintenance”
Lecturer: Hiroshi Nishina, Professor, Medical Research Institute, Institute of Science Tokyo

The guest speakers shared insightful personal anecdotes about Professor Seiki, creating a warm atmosphere alongside the passionate scientific discussions. They provided clear and accessible explanations of highly specialized topics.

Our institute will continue such activities as we strive toward fulfilling our mission and achieving further breakthroughs.
