[Award] Prof. Toshiki Kawamata Wins Best Poster Award at the 11th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Genome Editing

Professor Toshiki Kawamata of Genome Control Medicine at the Research Institute for Cell Design Medical Science has received the Best Poster Award at the 11th Annual Meeting of the Japanese Society for Genome Editing (JSGE) in recognition of his outstanding research achievements and presentation.

This award highly evaluates his research success in demonstrating the efficacy of gene therapy for liver diseases using an in vivo model. This was achieved through genome editing utilizing a unique gRNA modification technology developed by Professor Kawamata.

This research is highly anticipated to make a significant contribution to the future development of gene therapy using genome editing.
