*Announcement* We exhibited at BioJapan2024.

We exhibited at BioJapan 2024 held at Pacifico Yokohama for three days from October 9 (Wed.) to 11 (Fri.), 2024.

This is the world’s oldest biotechnology exhibition, and was held concurrently with “Regenerative Medicine JAPAN” and “healthTECH JAPAN.” Approximately 1,200 companies, including academia, companies, and organizations, exhibited, attracting a total of 18,003 visitors over the three days. (The total number of visitors over the three days was 18,003 (compared to 16,138 last year).

This year, the Graduate School of Medicine introduced its research,
New drug discovery and drug administration methods focusing on the biological clock: An attempt to transform a substance that could not be turned into a drug into a drug.
A system for detecting the risk of drug-induced liver injury in humans
A method to assist in the identification of depression using plasma exosomes.

Introduction of research conducted by the Research Institute for Cell Design and Medical Science,
Development of therapeutic agents that induce angiogenesis by intravenous administration.
Development of cholesterol subcellular localization regulators to overcome ciliopathies.

The Graduate School of Sciences and Technology for Innovation introduced their research as follows,
Spontaneous emulsification technology using porous particles and its application to DDS formulations.

A poster summarizing the above was displayed to provide visitors with an overview.
Exhibitor presentations on “Development of Therapeutic Agents Inducing Angiogenesis by Transvenous Administration (Dr. Koji Ueno)” and “Development of Cholesterol Intracellular Localization Control Agents to Overcome Ciliopathy (Dr. Tatsuo Miyamoto)” were also held on a special stage.

The booth attracted many visitors from pharmaceutical-related companies, academia, and local governments, and discussions were held continuously throughout the exhibition period.
