*Report* “The Frontiers of Regenerative and Cellular Medicine: Changing the Future of Medicine” was held as an open-house event.
On Tuesday, December 17, 2024, “Public Project ‘The Frontiers of Regenerative and Cellular Medicine that will Change Future Medicine’ was held at COCOLAND.
On the day of the event, we received greetings from the President of Yamaguchi University, the Governor of Yamaguchi Prefecture, and the Mayor of Ube City.
The mayor of Ube City said that Ube City has the potential to target a global market worth tens of trillions of yen in a city of more than 100,000 people.
Afterwards, each of the eight speakers spoke about “initiatives that only Ube City can undertake, because Ube is Ube,” including research projects and human resource development conducted in collaboration with industry, academia, and public finance.
Through such activities, the Institute will continue to make further strides toward achieving its mission.
